What Most Women Notice After Stopping GLPs
Intense Hunger
Hunger seems like it goes from 0 to 100 after the medication leaves the body.
Food Noise
The volume on food noise gets turned back up and food is all the sudden pleasurable again.
Old Patterns
Everything that was being paused by the medication starts to resume and trigger weight gain like before the medication.
Why Rebound Often Happens
While on GLPs, normal mechanisms in the body are suppressed (the volume has been turned way down). Undereating leads to muscle loss, which leads to a slowed metabolism.
When the medication leaves the body, mechanisms are turned back on (the volume gets BLASTED back on). The first sign of this is the appetite coming back. While that is normal, the body is at a disadvantage and quickly gains weight from the limited metabolic capacity.
The real problem isn't the hunger.
It's being unprepared for it!
The appetite returning is normal - the body needs fuel. The issue is not having a framework in place to improve metabolic capacity and support an increasing appetite.
And that food noise? Part of our framework is geared towards keeping the volume low on the food noise long after the medication is out of the body.
The GLP Transition Blueprint
The framework needed to come off GLPs without fear of rebound weight gain or intense food noise
Prep the Body
Before fully stopping the medication, we prep the body. This keeps the hunger volume from going 0 to 100.
Navigate Transition
As the medication leaves the body, we control the volume on the hunger and food noise by increasing food at a specific rate.
Maintain Results
The medication has left the body and we're heading into the "danger zone" timeframe. It's here that we lock in the structure that fits your life and keeps the weight off for good.
